Tooth Sensitivity

Tooth sensitivity means tingling sensation or pain in their teeth. The nerve below the teeth is very sensitive when exposed to extreme change in temperature in the mouth. This usually happens when your teeth are exposed to cold fluids or cool air.

The cause of tooth sensitivity is eroded enamel and teeth cavities. An immediate preventive measure is to stop brushing hard or with force. Prevent the use of a toothbrush with hard bristles. Brushing your teeth with a soft-bristled brush at a 45-degree angle to your gum is recommended. If the sensitivity is too much, you should visit your dentist and have a checkup. Using toothpaste specially for sensitive teeth is what we suggest and to fill all the exposed cavities. Cold and frozen food products should be kept away in case of sensitivity issues.
