The Ontario Dental Education Institute is a centre of excellence in the oral health sciences, providing quality education to dental professionals, engaging in innovative research, and fostering leadership in community service.

The Ontario Dental Education Institute endeavours to develop competent and empathetic health professionals who are responsive to the needs of the individual and of the community at large by:

Our History

Founded in November 2004, Ontario Dental Education Institute is an Accredited Dental Hygiene School committed to providing a learning environment that emphasizes academic excellence and individual growth.

The Ontario Dental Education Institute offers a Dental Hygiene Program in less than two years. The program trains students to meet and exceed the oral health needs of the public. The school is Registered with the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities. Accreditation has been granted by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada in 2007.

ODEI offers continuing education for dental professionals and exam preparatory courses for dental hygiene program graduates. New dental-related programs are currently under development.

The facility was built in 2003 and is fully equipped with high quality, up-to-date equipment. ODEI's facilities are continually expanding and improving to better service the needs of our students and clients.

The building is situated in heritage-rich Ancaster, which provides a perfect environment for academic study. This location is also close to a number of major cities such as Brantford, Mississauga, Burlington, Oakville and Niagara Falls. Hospitals, shopping malls and movie theatres are all conveniently located near the college.
